I am not sure what type of sausage you are talking about pork or kilbasa?
ReplyDeleteHi Ginee, it should be perfectly fine for you to use any type of sausage that you want. For this recipe she used Italian, which is pork, not Kielbasa. Italian sausage is flavored with spices and generally available in mild, sweet and hot. We prefer the sweet. :o)
ReplyDeleteMy question is what size cans of tomatoes are used. I was thinking the large ones (29oz?), but wanted to make sure.
ReplyDeleteI would think so Susan, that's what we usually buy. But if your kids (or if you have any picky eaters to feed) don't like tomatoes then you may only want to use one instead of two. :o)
ReplyDeleteP.S. If you do use less tomatoes just add another can of water to make sure there is enough liquid for cooking.
